JAG Architects

Our firm was established in 1977 with the single goal of providing each of our clients with direct, personal professional services. We take an active part in all phases of a school district's Capital Improvement Program from initial needs assessments to budget estimates and state aid calculations, through project design, SED submissions, construction and final acceptance.

Over the years, our firm has grown from a sole proprietorship to a well-rounded, professional corporation serving over thirty school districts in the Nassau/ Suffolk County area. Now over 90% of our architectural practice is devoted to public school construction work that ranges from minor renovation projects to entire new school buildings. We work with school districts undertaking small capital improvement programs, such as roof, window and boiler reconstruction to science room and computer lab upgrades ranging from $100,000 to several million dollars per year. Additionally, we work with many school districts in planning and executing multimillion dollar Construction Bond Issue projects. These Facility projects include new school buildings, additions, district-wide computer networking, ADA compliance and a broad range of other educational construction needs.
